this installation from the exhibition safety measures is a particular favourite. artist Marzena Topka
not only displays an incredible devotion to crochet, she also cleverly incorporates elements of architecture. it took a while to work out that they were crocheted floor plans. it reminded me of a completely sewn interior of a house in the sydney biennale many years ago. made from sheer fabric and all to life size scale... an amazing exhibit.
